What’s your Europe? New perspectives for the EU

14 May 20:00 - 22:00

SKLO Kraneweg 33

Brexit, Brussels, populists. Current political developments in our country and on our continent do not provide us with a very positive image of the European Union. But is it really that bad? What are the challenges and chances, especially for young people in Europe today?

Dr Pier Domenico Tortola, Assistant Professor at the Centre for the Study of Democratic Cultures and Politics in Groningen, will talk about these and other European issues, in anticipation of the European elections on the 23rd of May.

This evening is organized by GSp, the Groninger Student Platform for Philosophy and Religion.

When?            Tuesday 14 May, 8 pm.

Where?           SKLO building, Kraneweg 33

Entrance is free of charge. We would like to invite all students in our city to share their perspectives on the EU. After the lecture and discussion, feel free to stay for drinks. All welcome!
